719 St. Nicholas Avenue is a five-story residential apartment building with ground-level commercial office space, landmarked in the Sugar Hill Historic District. Originally built in 1890, the building was once home to the Barnard School for Boys (which merged into Horace Mann), and a speakeasy even occupied the ground floor during prohibition!
