There are 7 daycares, 3 elementary schools and 5 playgrounds within 15 minutes of walking distance. The neighborhood is diverse and safe.
Most importantly, the rent listed is under market price! Two bed are rare in Long Island City, and rarer in Hunter’s Point, and even rarer in the TFC buildings. This two bed with balcony is priced lower than some of other two beds in this building that are $1,000 ~ $2,000 or more expensive.
This neighborhood (Hunter’s Point) is filled with top restaurants, supermarkets, dog park, playgrounds, ferry stops, etc. The apartment is 10 minute walk way from 7 subway that is one stop away from Grand Central. Line E/M is 15 minute walk away. It has Trader Joe’s that’s 10 minute away on foot.
The apartment is in great condition (the maintenance in the building is fantastic and very responsive for taking care of any issues). The amenities in this building are one of the best in NYC. The 7th floor has fountain and multiple grills and so much green space to lay/run around. (See pictures). It even has tennis court, one outdoor playground and an indoor playground.
