We’re looking for a new housemate (no couples) at our home in Silverthorne. We are not far from I-70 and within walking distance of the rec center. Rent is $1250 flat, with all utilities and internet included.
The available bedroom is in the basement, right next to our home theater (7.2.4 surround sound). The theater is used most evenings for a few hours and can be loud, so we want to be upfront: this setup isn’t for everyone, but would be a great fit for someone who works evenings or loves immersive entertainment. The room is unfurnished, though we can provide a twin bed if needed, and you’ll share a clean, well-kept bathroom with one other tenant. You’ll also have access to the rest of the house, including a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and laundry.
A little about us: My wife and I have lived here full-time for 9 years. We love skiing and biking and generally make the most of Summit life. We’re generally quiet and respectful. Most evenings it’s just me enjoying the theater, sometimes joined by my wife or friends. We occasionally have social nights, but it’s generally a relaxed and easygoing environment. We value clear communication, tidy shared spaces, and a comfortable home, and hope for a housemate who feels the same!
We’re looking for a responsible, easygoing housemate who’s comfortable with the theater being part of the home. No pets or smoking.
