Seeking an additional community-minded person for a three-person, cooperative home-share in a well-maintained, one-story, 1990's home on a quiet and attractive street in close-in SW Portland.

ROOMS/RENT

Two of the three bedrooms are available. The bedrooms are unfurnished.

The Master Bedroom: measures roughly 16x12 feet, carpeted, with a walk-in closet, a wide, sliding window, and its own bathroom with a shower. No bathtub.

Also available is the middle bedroom: is roughly 10x10 feet, carpeted, with a wide, sliding window and a walk-in closet. The person in this room will share a full bathroom including bathtub/shower with me.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION/AMENITIES

* The total square footage (living space) is 1,214 feet.

* The main part of the house - an open floor plan combo of living room, dining room, and kitchen - is partially furnished, with couches, a TV, a ceiling fan, a cabinet, and some other furniture.

* The kitchen has a large amount of cupboard and cabinet space, with a sizable assortment of kitchen ware and cooking gadgets. The oven/stove is gas-powered (as are the water heater, and furnace).

* Attached garage with a small front yard and a back porch with a full back yard. Parking is outdoors in the two-car driveway, with a third parking spot available next door.

* Walking distance from the Woods Memorial Natural Area, a 45-acre, pocket-sized forest with hiking trails. It's also 5 minutes south of Multnomah Village, and is centrally located. It's only a 15-30-minute drive from Tigard, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, downtown, Sellwood, the Ross Island Bridge, and OHSU.

My name is Avi. I'm the house manager for the property owner. I'm a 65-year-old, currently single, divorced guy with grown kids, and no pets. I don't smoke and I like the occasional glass of hard cider or Spanish coffee. I do nonprofit admin work. I love ecstatic dance. I have a pretty wide social network. I meditate. During the summers, I usually volunteer at a number of local festivals.

You're financially stable enough to be reliable with the monthly rent and utilities payments. You're basically responsible. It's important to you that you keep commitments and promises. If you make a mistake, you own it without gaslighting or shifting blame. You know how to compromise to get to win-win scenarios. You willingly communicate what you need and what's going on with you. You've had positive experience living with other grownups and know how to live/play well with others. In your life, you have people you care about and pursuits that you're passionate about and enjoy.

* We willingly spend some time and effort keep this place reasonably, but not neurotically, clean. We all do our chores when they need to be done without needing to be reminded.

* When conflict arises, we work it out and we compromise, trying for the win-win.

* We honor each other's boundaries and privacy, and consciously treat each other with respect.

* We meet regularly to check in and resolve problems.
