Windows have blackout curtains and individually-controlled, super-quiet Mitsubishi mini-split HVAC units for temperature control summer and winter. Bathroom share with one other resident; bathroom includes two medicine cabinets, 38 shower, plenty of linen storage.
The house is on the National Register and was renovated over 2017-2019 with all new plumbing, electricity, insulation, HVAC/central air, full sprinkler system. All electric high-efficiency heat pumps; no fossil fuels. Gourmet kitchen has an induction stove and other high-end appliances including two extra-large refrigerators and two sinks. Separate large dining room with dry bar and beverage fridge; large standing freezer in basement. 65 tv and electric fireplace in the living room. Residents keep a neat house and are a mix of graduate students and working people. Currently no pets, but up to two dogs or cats are allowed with agreement of the housemates. Limited off-street parking but there may be a space open. Security cameras and lockable package safe.
This co-op shares a private (locked) fenced-in backyard and patio with the new carriage house at the back of the lot, which is a separate 6-bedroom co-op. Covered, lockable bike storage. The house is a semi-cooperative, with opportunities to be social and independent. (For example, tenants may host occasional board game nights or dinner parties.)
