Description
$2,000 - Beautiful Furnished 4 BR/2BA
House for Spring Semester
This is the perfect spot for spring sabbatical or visiting prof/grad student housing for the semester. Historic home in the Near Northwest Neighborhood, less than 2 miles from ND/SMC/Holy Cross; 1 mile to downtown. We just remodeled the entire house, so the kitchen and 2 baths are not only brand new, but beautifully designed. All the charm of an old house with modern updates.
Downstairs offers an office or exercise room off the dining room, or it can be made into an extra bedroom if you have a large family. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, and one has its own "extra room" attached. Depending on your needs, we could keep it as an extra TV/sitting room, or make it into another office. Particularly if you have a lot of work/writing/research to do from home, there is a lot of space to configure the house to your needs. We can discuss this in advance and have the space arranged to your preference.
The house is located one block from the St. Joe River, and a few blocks from the River trail. The Local Cup neighborhood coffee shop is also a block away, and a great place to meet neighbors. The Near Northwest (NNN) is well-known for being a community-minded neighborhood, and easy to get involved if you want to feel more like you live here, rather than like you just dropped in for a few months. There are many interesting and friendly people in the area, although this is a quiet block, so introverts can also find their bliss.
House is available Jan 15-May 15, with possible flexibility by a few days. Rent is $2000/month or $2500 if you prefer all utilities included (gas, water, electric, wifi).
