The building was built in 1925, and recently renovated. It's the entire downstairs unit of a triplex. Updated kitchen includes gas range with oven, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, on-demand water heater (low gas bills!) and a coin operated washer/dryer in the shared laundry room - directly accessible at the back of our apartment. Less than local laundromats and super convenient.
This listing is for the second bedroom which has a closet and shares a jack-and-jill (two sinks, storage, shower over tub) bathroom with the bedroom on the other side of this bathroom.
It's located on a quiet little block with lots of families. Lots of light and birds chirping makes the place feel very serene and homey.
Bills are split four ways: gas and electric, cable/phone and internet. The SOLAR roof offsets the majority of the electrical costs for the entire building - this gives us a large solar credit against our electric bill.
There are RING security cameras and motion triggered lighting systems are installed on the front and back porches.
There is a locking mailbox as well as a package dropbox on the front porch - this is shared by the all three apartments in the building.
Multiple citrus and stone fruit trees are in the front yard (Meyer lemon, sweet lime, pluots and
peaches), collards, artichokes and flowering plants including roses and honeysuckles in the front yard. The back yard features an avocado, guava and rose apple tree.
Pets are considered on a case by case basis. If they get along with our existing pets they are allowed with an additional pet deposit. ??
