Description
The largest bedroom (11’ 9” x 17’ 7” with its own private en-suite bathroom) in our spacious 4 bedroom, three bathroom garden apartment near Mills has become available.
The apartment is the entire first floor of a triplex with a large shared living space including Living Room, Dining Room and full Kitchen plus additional storage or dining area. The common areas are furnished. Your bedroom is all yours to decorate and furnish as you like. If you have furniture for the common areas you’re welcome to bring it or to store it in the garage out back.
The building was built in 1925, and was fully renovated in 2019. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely redone and new appliances installed: gas range with oven, full-sized refrigerator (there's a second fridge on the back porch to allow everyone ample space), dishwasher, on-demand water heater (low gas bills!) and the washer/dryer in the shared laundry room, which is directly accessible through the back door of our apartment which leads to the deck area, backyard garden and garages.
It's located on a quiet little block with lots of families. Lots of light and birds chirping makes the place feel very serene and homey. Fruit trees in front and back yard.
Bills are split four ways across all tenants: gas, electric and internet. We don't have TV/cable service other than high speed internet presently. A SOLAR roof offsets the majority of the electrical costs for the entire building and gives us a large solar credit against the electric bill for the entire apartment. Each room has its own heater and controls so you can manage your own room’s temperature. Bathrooms all have a ventilation fan and lighting which includes a heater, in addition to vanity lights over the mirror and medicine cabinets in each bathroom.
Pets are considered with an additional $250 pet security deposit added, references and pet interview.
