This fully furnished unit is the upper floor of a cozy two-story house located about a mile from Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles, OR. This space was created as a temporary housing unit, not a permanent residence (traveling contract workers, temporary housing for relocating to the area, 30+ day vacation, place to stay during home renovation, etc.). Available now through May 9th.
The bedrooms each a include queen-size Stumptown mattress, dresser, nightstands, blackout curtains and closet storage. The living room has a comfy sectional couch with three reclining seats and a Roku TV for accessing your streaming services. This unit has a wood fireplace insert that can make your stay extra cozy. There is also an office desk and chair for a work from home station. The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, full-size fridge, oven/stovetop, large updated sink, and dishwasher. It is stocked with coffee, spices, cooking utensils (spatulas, large spoons, knives, cutting boards, cheese grater, etc.), silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, dishtowels, cleaning supplies, dish soap, and bags. There is a back deck with patio furniture and a fenced-in backyard. All utilities and wifi are included in the rent. This property used to be my primary residence so you will feel right at home when you come to this community to work! In your time off you will find beautiful hikes in the National Scenic Columbia Gorge and a cute downtown shopping area.
The house is a 4-minute drive to MCMC or a 15-minute walk. Pets welcome with approval (backyard is fenced) with $50/mo pet rent per pet, plus an additional $400 refundable deposit , no smoking. The rental price includes all utilities- electricity, water, wi-fi, and garbage.
Applicants must complete screening for credit report, criminal background check, and eviction report for each adult tenant. I will need a copy of your verified income, photo ID for each adult, and renters insurance. Income must be 2.5x monthly rent. Credit score 620+. Pets must be disclosed and approved. Deposits and first months rent are due at lease signing. All adult residents must be named on the lease.
