Resort Style living in Central Florida... We were the very first residents to move into this beautiful community which is located in Clermont, Florida which is just a few miles west of downtown Orlando. From what was once just a citrus grove, Legends Resort and Country Club is now the ultimate in "Resort Style Living". After looking at the brochure, we were immediately hooked! We built and moved into our new home before the community clubhouse or pool were even built in the year 2001. Our infant child at the time is now in college but it really has been a joy watching him grow up here with his brother and sister. When we leave to go on vacation, the only thing that changes is the view. We have everything here at home that we have on vacation: 24 hour patrolled security, 24 hour guarded gate entrance, security cameras, heated community swimming pool, spa, fitness center, sauna, tennis, volleyball, basketball and a clubhouse which includes awesome events like holiday parties and community socials. The facilities are also available for private functions by the homeowners. I have never played golf here but I have always owned a golf cart as a way of getting around. The cart paths and trails are a lot of fun and I am sure that I am going to miss that. A big bonus about living in this community is that in addition to all the security and amenities, basic cable, telephone and internet are also included in the HOA monthly dues :) The home itself has been well maintained.
