This beautiful, historic, remodeled 1780s shipbuilders home is located in Franklins town center. (The property was formerly the Elephant Inn B&B and Franklin Tourist Information Center.)
The house is 9 miles from Ellsworth, 22 miles from Bar Harbor, and 38 miles from Brewer/Bangor, with deeded access to the ocean via Taunton Bay just across the road. Easy access to many diverse trails including the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Just down the road are public boat landings.
UTILITIES INCLUDED(water, sewer, heat, electric, trash, internet, yard and driveway maintenance). Single occupancy only and no pets. One year lease required. Current residency of this very large home: 4 people full-time, 1 part-time. Everyone gets along well, when you actually cross paths- it seems like you have this place to yourself most of the time.
Completed application, signed lease, first, last months rent and security deposit required before move-in ($2550). Complete the application if you want to schedule a viewing of the property and get a head start, do the application($55 application fee). This fee will be fully refunded with signed rental agreement and payment.
