Description
730 - room for rent for single individual
Hi everyone - We have a single room available in a large house. Our roommate is moving out and were looking for a replacement. We live in a 5 bedroom, 2 full bathroom house on a quarter acre of land. The room comfortably fits a queen bed, chair, and dresser and it has a ceiling fan with remote. Were about a 15 minute walk to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to Yales West Campus, which has a free shuttle into New Haven.
There is a drive-way, which is shared, and theres plenty of open off-street parking space. Theres plenty of storage space and a large, fenced backyard with some garden beds and a fire pit. Were a house of male and female professionals. There are two dogs that live here. The dogs are very friendly but they do shed. The house is large and has two living areas. The downstairs living area is used as a guest bedroom/workout area/paint room/music room. Theres also a garage and a large storage area downstairs. Everyone does their own thing in the house - there arent any specific rules or curfews or anything. You just live with people, so you have to be respectful of other people and their space.
Move in date is a little flexible. Lease is month-to-month and rent is 740$. 200$ to reserve the room but deposit will be 700$ total (that includes the 200$). Were potentially open to dogs that get along with the two in the house, calm and non-alpha dogs do best, and potentially a cat (but the cat would most likely have to stay in your room because the dogs arent super chill around cats). References from past roommates that have lived here are available upon request.
If youre interested please send a text or an email with a little about yourself - if youve lived with other people before, what youre looking for in a house-share scenario, etc so I know you actually read the entire posting and I wont respond to your inquiry if you dont. Thanks!
