There is a basement apartment that will be rented out that does not have a separate entrance. They would go through the main front door and then their door to the basement is the first door on the right down the hall. They then have a door that locks in the basement leading to their apartment.
About 1/4th of the basement is a large storage space for you to use.
The back deck just got replaced with a new deck of the same size. The kitchen just got new tile floor installed and new granite countertops arriving in a week.

Here's a full breakdown of the application process.
There is an application form you need to fill out. If you decide you want to move forward with renting the property there's a $50 application fee. I pay the $50 to a company that does a credit and background check. If credit score is below 650 I require two months security deposit instead of one month. Any red flags that could come up during the credit and background check will force me to decline the application including any past evictions, bankruptcies or if the applicant has any past due debt. For example: credit card debt. If everything looks good, then the property can be locked in with a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit. This money goes towards your security deposit. Once the money is paid showing you're serious and not going to back out- I shut down all my advertisements and cancel all pending walk-throughs and applicants. The place is yours on the agreed upon move-in date. You sign the lease prior to your move-in date.
