Description
Room in a 3BR/2BA Apartment in Quiet Street of Castro District (150 Hartford) - One room in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on a quiet street in the Castro district
* Available: Now
* INQUIRIES: Please email Amanda at [Use EMAIL button]
The apartment itself is on the top floor of a three unit, 1886 Victorian on a charming and quiet street in the heart of the Castro. The location offers easy access to the rest of the city via public transit, as well as plenty of great spots within walking distance (just 3 blocks away from Dolores Park!).
The entire building was just extensively remodeled, so everything in the unit is pretty much brand new (with the exception of most of the furniture and decor, which is an eclectic mix of vintage and antique pieces). The kitchen has an oven with a built-in air fryer and a stovetop griddle, a fairly spacious refrigerator, and a 3-level dishwasher, as well as beautiful custom cabinets and a gorgeous granite countertop.
The kitchen and living room feature a large open floor design with tons of natural light including a huge window with a beautiful view.
There's a top-of-the-line large capacity washer and dryer in the laundry room; the washing machine can handle bulky comforters and even sleeping bags with no problem!
The apartment has two full bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub featuring beautiful custom tile work.
The huge backyard is shared with the two other units in the building. It's currently a rather uninviting work-in-progress, but I plan on making it a spring project of mine.
For internet, we are lucky enough to have Sonic Fiber, which is pretty much the fastest available in San Francisco. Utilities will be split evenly between roommates.
The room is 10' × 14' with a 5.5'× 2.5' closet and a West facing window that looks out to a pretty view of Sutro Tower and Twin Peaks.
Rent will be $1,950 per month
About me:
I'm a female 27 year old San Francisco native. Some of my interests/hobbies include San Francisco history, thrifting/antiquing, foraging for mushrooms, a rather wide variety of artistic mediums, gardening, and mixology.
The pandemic has turned me into a bit of a homebody, but I'm starting to get out a little more and do sometimes have (vaccinated) friends over. I do my best to keep the common areas tidy, but can occasionally spread out while working on a project.
Other residents:
I have a fluffy Syrian hamster named Toad, and a friendly young male cat.
About you:
You are vaccinated, a working professional, good hygiene, friendly, a clear communicator and responsible. You don't have a ton of belongings (in addition to your bedroom you'll get a large floor-to-ceiling pantry/cupboard in the laundry room, but as a whole, the apartment is rather tight on storage space) You can keep the common areas relatively tidy, although I'm not going to lose my mind if you leave your dishes in the sink overnight
PLEASE NOTE
- Utilities are split evenly between roomates
- $2,500 deposit + $1,950/month rent
- Serious inquiries only
- Available for immediate move in (happy to prorate rent if you move in mid-month)
- Send social links
- I'm sorry, but I can't allow more cats or a dog at this time. However, I am open to animals that would be contained in your room (fish, reptiles, rodents, etc.)
- 420 friendly
- LGBTQ+
