Description
$1,550 - summer sublet of sunny 2-bedroom on Old West Side
We are subletting our furnished, sunny 2-bed 1-bath apartment on the old west side over the summer! Available May 1 to July 31. Located across from Allmendinger Park, we are about a ten minute walk to Washtenaw Dairy, Jefferson Market, Wurster Park, or Elbel Field. Google says it takes 28 minutes to walk to the Diag but I've been able to do it in 25 when running late. There's a lovely front porch with a swing for enjoying Ann Arbor's beautiful summer evenings. Our living room is south facing and gets nice natural light. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room and a window AC unit in the dining room keep things cool in the summer. Furnishings we can leave behind or store per subletter preference include: queen size bed frame (brand new - just bought it this week!), box spring, and foam mattress; bedside tables and lamps; IKEA dresser; office desks and chairs; floor lamps throughout the house; cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs, electric kettle, toaster, and other useful kitchen knickknacks; dining room table and chairs; etagere bookcase; standing desk; couch; living room chairs; TV stand and TV; the shoe holder thing and entryway table; and our beloved coffee table. Those furnishings are what you see in the photos. The place also comes with a portable dishwasher (very easy to use if you haven't had one before) and, in the basement, top loading washer and side loading dryer. Stove is gas and there is of course a microwave and oven. Parking is available in back and included in rent. It's a great neighborhood for cycling as well and bikes can safely and easily be stored in the basement. The 28 bus runs across the street to go downtown or to campus. We are the bottom floor in a two-story duplex. We have an upstairs neighbor who is super nice (and we pretty much never hear him.) Utilities: landlord pays for gas and water; we pay for internet and electric. You don't pay for any utilities! There is some limited additional storage in the basement. Please feel free to get in touch if you have questions about any of the above or want a virtual or in-person tour of the place! Dates could be negotiable for the right subletter(s) so feel free to be in touch.
