We recently moved in (we're living upstairs) and are renovating - the apartment was freshly painted last week, the kitchen cabinets are currently being painted, and we'll be upgrading the shared backyard this spring.
This apartment is close to everything: right on the border of Columbia Heights and Petworth, 10-minute walk to Georgia Ave metro, 5 minutes to the shops and restaurants on Upshur, and 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants on 14th St. If you cough twice, you're in the Upshur pool, basically, and a 3 minute jog gets you to Rock Creek Park.
Rent is $1800 + a comfort fee to cover electricity, gas, water, and internet. LGBTQA+ very welcome; if you like to garden, that's a major plus. We prefer a one year lease but a shorter lease is possible for a fee. No smoking or cats allowed. We like dogs. First month’s rent due at signing.
