As you drive down the lane that is nestled between bordering cherry groves, the path narrows and you arrive at the edge of the lake. The home, appropriately named “Shorz Edge”, offers the perfect combination of outdoor recreation, beauty and relaxation. The sun rises over the Mission mountains behind the house and long evenings resolve into stunning sunset views over the Bitterroot mountain range. Enjoying a cup of coffee while gazing over the lake as the resident eagle flies down the shoreline is a great way to start your day! After the sun goes down, you'll be amazed at how many stars light up the sky without artificial light to obscure them. The lake front is 120 feet of natural rock beach with a 50' dock to jump off and cool down. The Adirondack-style main house has a vast deck with multiple seating arrangements, a 12-person teak table and built in rock BBQ to enjoy day and/or night. The deck wraps around the house and attaches to the fully equipped cottage that can sleep up to 5 with a bath and kitchen area. The main house has an open floor plan offering great space to gather, do a puzzle, play a game, tickle the ivories or just sit at the bar and enjoy life. The oak bar and brass rail surrounds the large kitchen with plenty of counter space and is fully equipped for guests that like to cook. Downstairs you'll find a laundry room, game closet, a full bath and two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with bunk beds and a trundle)
