Outdoor area includes charcoal BBQ, sun umbrella, Mosaic- cement dining table and string lights to light it up at night. The queen-size bed is a comfortable memory foam mattress (Purple brand) with down pillows. Kitchen has full-size appliances with dining area. Full-size bathroom with tub/ shower combo, This bungalow is clean and nicely furnished, and has a nice vantage point over the neighborhood. Grant Hill Park is only a block away, and boasts the best sunset view in San Diego! Only a 5-minute drive to Gaslamp Quarter (downtown), Balboa Park, and South Park. WiFi/smart TV, record player with USB/Bluetooth. Gas stove and heater/built in AC/ beach gear available / free storage.

This is a gated complex with key-less entry locks, security doors; well lit with motion-sensor lighting on pathways and back parking lot. Off -street parking and laundry facilities included. Residential area/ wide streets lined with palms/nice culturally mixed, safe neighborhood. The “Tamale Lady” usually comes down the street every night around 7pm $2 each!

The other tenants are mostly travel nurses /they are respectful, quiet and friendly/helpful. Friendly owner-operated property: serving the travel-nurse community for over 7 years: plenty of references and recommended by staffing agency's

Island Avenue Bungalows consist of six furnished stucco units situated under three large majestic palm trees, each with a nice outdoor deck or patio area. The units feature full kitchens, full baths, new comfortable queen-sized beds, and flat screen televisions.



The complex enjoys a nice breeze off the San Diego Bay, is well lit with a gated, key-code entry, and has security screen doors. Other amenities include off-street parking, on-site laundry, trash & recycle service, and well-manicured landscaping.

The property is walking distance to many restaurants, bars, convenience stores and local businesses. Located off the first exit on Highway 94, these bungalows are close to all the best that San Diego offers, is situated within 1.5 miles to the downtown Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park, Balboa Park, South Park, Golden Hill, Barrio Logan and many other neighborhoods. Grant Hill Park is located 1000 feet away and has amazing sunset views of Coronado Island, Point Loma, and downtown.

Typically rented to short stay nurses, the other tenants are respectful and quiet. Rent is based on single occupancy without pets (additional rent applies). A 3-month lease is preferred. Lease will rollover into a month-to-month status after contract ends. Other arrangements for a shorter term may be available. Pets allowed with pre-approval.
