Description
The Grant house is located four blocks south of Boise State University and Greenbelt access, a mile from downtown, and less than two miles from the airport. It's an open, airy home located in one of Boise's oldest subdivision with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A fire pit and great backyard complement this home - great for families, professionals looking for a quiet space, and anyone wanting to be impressed by one of Boise's best neighborhoods.
Built in 1950, the Grant house features a myriad of warm architectural details, from arched doorways to cast iron railings to a 100+ year old Sycamore tree that never fails to impress.
The backyard features a covered deck with seating as well as a nearby keg system in the side of the garage with homemade root beer!
The fire pit in the back yard feels like a secluded natural oasis in the middle of the city. We try to keep fixings for s'mores in the kitchen and two s'mores sticks on the fence near the fire pit. Please do not leave the fire unattended, and make sure that the fire is completely out when you're done.
The Grant house is in the Historic Southeast Boise Neighborhood, a stone's throw from Boise State University as well as Boise's downtown area. Within a short walk, there's a brand new grocery store; plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops; and several parks. It's common to see people out biking or walking the tree-lined streets, and the proximity to the university gives the area a youthful energy. This neighborhood gets extra busy when the Boise State football team has a home game or on days of other big university events like concerts or graduation.
