This second floor, one bedroom apartment has a large kitchen with space for a table, a large living room, a nice sized bedroom and an additional "sunroom" that can function as an office or den.
The kitchen features ceramic tile floors, custom cabinets, granite counters, track lighting, and all black appliances.
The unit has central AC and California closets. There is free shared laundry on this floor for four apartments. Tenant pays electric. Landlord pays water, sewage & trash.
This complex at 5511, 5515, and 5519 Baum Blvd. is only blocks from lots of shops and restaurants including Market District, Giant Eagle-Shadyside, Aldi, Rite Aid, Crazy Mocha, Wendy's, Panera and so much more. The busway to quickly get you downtown is only a 5 minute walk away.
It used to be two large mansions side by side. The buildings were stripped down to the brick, remodeled and turned into 27 apartments in 2012. We restored and saved a few things from the mansions, such as original word work, wainscoting, and stained glass windows from the early 1900s. All plumbing, electric, drywall, insulation, HVAC, flooring, appliances were updated.
One assigned parking space is included for each apartment. Extra parking may be available for additional rent.
There is storage in the basement.
Residents enjoy a shared patio space in the rear of the building with picnic tables. Tenants are welcome to put a grill and/or chairs in the patio, with the understanding that it is a common area.
All of our properties are pet friendly for friendly pets with a two animal maximum. We require proof of rabies vaccinations (and licenses for dogs) but we do not charge additional rent or fees for pets.
Smoking is not permitted in any of our properties.
