The Coverdale Suite B: 123 Cannon Street, Unit B - Available for May & June!
The Space:
Our spacious 1st floor 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home “The Coverdale Suite B” is ideal for up to 4 guests. (2BR/1BA) It has been recently refurbished to meet all of your travel wants and needs. Located just steps away from popular Charleston eateries and markets such as Babas On Cannon, Bistronomy, and Xiao Bao Biscuit, guests can enjoy the convenience of being centrally located while having a large, private space to come home to.
Our historic downtown Charleston home has a large open layout with a modern traditional design boasting beautiful large windows, hardwood flooring, and original fireplaces. Upon arrival guests will walk a short way down the driveway and up a few steps onto a large shared porch with seating for up to two guests. Here you will find an outdoor coffee table with two seats making it the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather. Guests will enter through the 1st floor private entrance off of the porch, into a spacious open living room. Our living room area features, a large grey couch, two matching club chairs, a modern style coffee table and a large flat screen TV atop a beautiful wooden console table.
Open to the living room area, our kitchen comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and plenty of places to enjoy a home-cooked meal together. Our kitchen features stone countertops, cookware, plenty of cabinet storage/space, and brand new appliances including an oven/stovetop, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, and freezer. Guests can also enjoy a meal around the dining table surrounded by 4 dining chairs.
Suite B features two large king bedrooms. The first bedroom is located off of the living room area to the left and features a plush king-sized bed, two bedside tables with lamps, large closet with a luggage rack, a large wall mirror and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom is located just off the living room area to the right and features a plush king-sized bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a large closet, small mirror above the fireplace, a luggage rack and a flat screen TV. To the right of our second bedroom you will find a small entryway that features a brand new washer and dryer for guest use, that leads into our spacious full bathroom with a walk in shower.
The Neighborhood - Cannonborough/Elliotborough:
The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Chubby Fish, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Goulette, R Kitchen and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery located nearby. We recommend going here for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and the delicious croissants and breakfast sandwiches. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores, and fashion boutiques – as well as buzzing restaurants. Publix conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well.
Other things to note:
Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
