The Coverdale Suite A: 123 Cannon Street, Unit A -
The Space:
Our spacious first floor studio ‘The Coverdale Suite A’ at 123 Cannon St is ideal for 2 guests featuring 1 king bedroom and 1 full bath with a walk in shower (1BR/1BA). Guests will use the front door on Cannon St which opens into a small entryway where guests will use the door to their immediate right to enter Suite A. Suite A features an open floor plan with a king bedroom and a cozy lounge space, making it great for a couple looking to spend time together while enjoying a visit to Charleston. The lounge space features a small grey couch, a glass side table, a small wooden table with seating for two and is equipped with a flat-screen Roku TV atop of a large dresser.
This space does not have a full kitchen, the kitchen area features a small fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker with locally roasted coffee for guest use and other basic kitchenware.
To your right of the kitchen area guests will find French style doors that open onto our large shared porch with seating for up to two guests. Here you will find an outdoor coffee table with two seats making it the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather.
The bathroom is just a few steps down the hall from where you entered into Suite A, the bathroom features a brand new tiled walk in shower with built in shelves and a large mirror.
The Neighborhood - Cannonborough/Elliotborough:
The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Chubby Fish, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Goulette, R Kitchen and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery located nearby. We recommend going here for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and the delicious croissants and breakfast sandwiches. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores, and fashion boutiques – as well as buzzing restaurants. Publix conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well.
Other things to note:
Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
