This 3rd floor unit is located in Downtown Portland on Sherman Street where you have easy access to everything Portland, ME has to offer. Close to many shops, restaurants, bars, theaters, the historic Old Port and Deering Oaks Park. The Owner pays Heat, Hot Water, Cold Water and Sewer. Tenants are responsible for electricity and cable/WiFi if desired. There is coin-op laundry on site for tenant use. Street Parking ONLY. This building allows cats for an additional monthly pet rent of $30/cat. No dogs, sorry. Security Deposit equal to one month's rent and due at the time of rental offer acceptance. First Month's Rent due on Lease start date and will be prorated if tenant moves in on any day other than the 1st of the month. Lease terms may need to be adjusted with shorter/longer length terms to reflect a peak month rental expiration date.

All Rental Application(s) and payment of application fees must be submitted electronically. Please see the application process below:
• Each persons over 18 years of age must complete a BellPort Rental Application. You can find our editable PDF Rental Application on our website [Use CALL or EMAIL to get in touch] under the "Rental Applications" tab.
• Email your completed application, along with proof of income (paystub, employment offer letter, bank statement, tax return, financial aid disbursement letter, etc. ), and a Photo of Government Issued I.D. (Driver's License, State I.D. and Passport) to [Use EMAIL button]
• Once your application and supporting documents are received via email, a member of our Leasing Team will email you a link from Square Invoicing that will allow you to pay your application fee online with a debit or credit card.
Please note there is a $20 application fee per application to apply for this unit which is itemized as $18.00 for the tenant screening (credit/criminal check) and $2.00 for the processing fee for the application fee invoice provided to you by Square. The following minimum requirements must be met in order to qualify for this unit:
• 2 years or more of positive rental history
• Credit score of 680 or higher
• No Criminal History
• No Bankruptcy
• Proof of income that you make 2.5 times the monthly rent (For example-If the unit is $1,000/month you must show that you make $2,500/month).
• Copy of Government Issued I.D. (Example- Driver's License, State ID, Passport etc.)
**If you have never rented, have poor or no established credit, or do not meet the income requirements, a co-signer may be accepted. A co-signer must complete a separate co-signer rental application and submit proof of income and pay an additional application fee to have their application processed. Co-Signers agree to sign for each applicant in the unit unless separate co-signers are obtained for each applicant**
