Professional older female looking for a roommate to share my home close to Ft. Carson Gate 20. Location is in an upscale neighborhood ½ mile from shopping center with grocery store, banks, restaurants and other retail stores. About 10 minutes to Ft. Carson’s back gate and close to Peterson AFB and Shriever AFB.
House has 3200 sq ft, is only a few years old and very updated. Beautifully furnished basement to be rented is 1532 sq ft. Upstairs kitchen and laundry room and outside deck will also be available for use by renter. There is a security system in the house and parking in the driveway and in front of house for one or two cars.
This furnished basement is available to rent for $1700/month including utilities (electric, gas, wifi, full cable TV, Netflix, Amazon, water, garbage). Only other expense is occasional housekeeper charge (about once every 3 weeks). The basement includes:
- Two large private bedrooms w/good size closets (one king and one queen)
- Private full bathroom with two sinks and tub and shower (towels, etc)
- Small wet bar area with sink, cabinets, microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge, coffee
maker, table/chairs and full-size refrigerator (and all cooking supplies)
- Living room w/pool table, foosball, electric dart board and 65” Roku big screen TV
- Basement Storage room and garage can be used for storage
- Driveway/street parking
- Full access to kitchen and laundry room upstairs, as well as patio/grill outside.
I'm looking for a considerate professional or military service member, who wants a comfortable place to live and who respects privacy, but occasionally may want to hang out, watch a movie, and share a meal, etc. Not looking for someone who likes to party (at least not in my home). Common areas need to stay neat and clean. I also have two small dogs (Ollie-Yorkie and Gabi-Maltese mix) who are friendly and love to cuddle.
This rental is move-in ready. Just bring your clothes!! SORRY, no children, no other pets, NO Smoking and NO Drugs. Available to move in September 1, 2021.
Must provide references, proof of income, and be willing to submit to a credit and background check. Security deposit (one month's rent) required upfront.
I am a licensed counselor and I work from home. I’m pretty laid back and am a night owl. Occasionally, I am gone for a night or two or a week, and I would like someone who gets along with my dogs and is willing to just feed them while I am gone. They have a doggie door so no need to be taken out. Would also like someone who is not opposed to helping out and is handy with light projects around the house occasionally.
