Description
Room with classic Victorian features available in 4-bedroom apartment that's close to UCSF, Haight St., Cole Valley restaurants/shops, N Judah, Kezar sports pavilion (good for runners), and Golden Gate Park. Street parking is usually pretty easy.
Available room is large, sunny and furnished room with bed, chairs, rug, couch, wardrobe, art, mantle piece, chandelier. Lots of natural light. Faces street, but 12 steps up, so it's relatively quiet. (It's also the first room from the front door - come and go unnoticed)
You can swap out the present furnishings for some of our other desks, chairs, lamps, art, if you wish.
Shared kitchen. Vegetarian meals preferred, but not mandatory. Shared living/dining room. We enjoy casual spontaneous socializing but it's not required.
Laundry room in unit. Lots of classic Victorian touches. Art-positive. Tranquil, overgrown backyard.
Bathroom and toilet are in separate rooms. (No morning traffic jams!)
We observe quiet hours from around 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM weekdays. In deference to Covid, no overnight visitors, please. Casual visitors can be met on the front steps, or allowed entry if all those inside agree.
CURRENT ROOMMATES ARE COMPLETELY VACCINATED and COVID CONSCIOUS - YOU MUST BE BOTH, AS WELL!! We are :
Guy, 69, Entrepreneur, humorous, friendly, in Recovery, lifelong spiritual seeker and student of world religions, guitarist, Hoping to travel more soon. (Have kids, step-kids, and grandkids in NorCal, England, and Hawaii).
Another guy, 37, son of above, works downtown in IT job with humanitarian non-profit. Enjoys techie/science stuff, documentaries, vegetarian, humorous, quiet.
1-year lease preferred, minimum 6-month lease required. First month's rent, plus $1,000 security deposit and $100 cleaning deposit on a signing. Shared utilities/wi-fi are currently $80/month, based on historical costs, and payable with monthly rent.
