Looking for a housemate to share a 3 bed 2 bath house.
What is available: 1 bedroom/full bath for rent in the walkout basement of a two story home. This is NOT a full house for rent.
What is for rent:
1 bedroom(partially furnished)/ 1 full bathroom/1 downstairs livingroom (partially furnished) for rent in a 3 bed 2 bath house. (You will be renting a fully finished walk out basement.)
The house is right around the corner from the Fenner Nature Center. Safe and quiet neighborhood.
Shared:
Washer/dryer in basement laundry room.
Yoga room downstairs.
Kitchen upstairs.
Two car garage.
Air ducts have been recently cleaned. New high efficiency furnace being installed Oct 8. A new energy saver patio door is scheduled to arrive some time this Fall.
P is 47 y/o educator/yoga teacher (f) who lives upstairs w a 11 y/o goldendoodle.
Looking for a quiet, peaceful, hard working housemate. Prefer a teacher, teaching assistant, medical student/intern, traveling nurse or hard working undergraduate student- someone who understands and respects the work of an educator teaching online 1/2 time from home.
You must be a good communicator.
$700 a month; all utilities included (BWL, Consumers, Trash, WiFi). House utilities have been running around $400 a month but everything seems to be going up- if utilities go up due to occupant usage, you will have to agree to split the difference.
Short term lease is totally welcome (1-2 months, 3 month while you wait for your furniture to arrive… one semester of you are in school… 6 months if you are graduating… ) but looking for someone to treat a house and housemate with respect- not just a temporary place to misuse. Attitudes change the energy.
