Hi all,
My fiancé Lauren and I just purchased a beautiful, centrally located single-family home in Princeton, NJ, and are looking for a roommate to fill a furnished bedroom on the second floor for a month-to-month rental arrangement.
ABOUT US:
You would be sharing this home with my fiancé Lauren and I and another roommate. Lauren works for Princeton University, and I work as a business consultant for a technology company and tutor business students remotely in their undergraduate and graduate courses. Our jobs keep us incredibly busy, but when we’re not working, you can find us at Life Time Athletic getting a workout in or visiting our families back up in MA! We are very neat, organized, and accommodating people. We live in the third floor loft. A roommate, a 40-year old philosophy teacher, signed on for a year-long lease and lives in one of the second floor bedrooms. She is incredibly clean, organized, and very easy to live with, and does not own a vehicle (electric scooter for the win).
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
We are first-time home buyers, and just moved in on 6/30! My family is very handy and is working this summer to make this home even better with renovations. Because we will be living in this home with you, we will take pride in keeping it beautiful (interior and exterior) and will continue to invest in a space that works well for everyone. The home is about 1.5 miles from Princeton University’s campus, Nassau Street, and you will find most major shops, grocery stores, gas, etc. within 3 miles.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The house is a 3 bed 1.5 bath single-family. There is one shared full bathroom on the second floor and a half bathroom on the first floor. We are looking for a clean, responsible roommate for a month-to-month rental. $1400 / month includes rent, utilities, Wi-Fi, the use of all bedroom furnishings, free laundry, and use of all kitchen resources (e.g. toaster, smoothie maker, pots & pans, etc.). First and last month rent required at signing with 30-day notice to cancel.
TIMING:
8/1 – onward. Flexible move-in date if needed prior to 8/1.
OTHER:
No pets. No smoking and/or drugs. Limited visitors.
