It's June in Washington DC, COVID restrictions have laxed and Dacha's patio is popping (once again). It's time to live your best life, and we're here to help with your very own, beautifully designed, light-filled basement studio, located in the heart of Shaw.
What makes this condo with TWO outdoor patios so special? Glad you asked! It starts with your roommate situation there won't be one. Yup, the only person sneaking into your fridge to ghost a few leftover slices of pizza from All Purpose will be you.
Next is the price-to-location ratio. Never heard of the only DC-living metric that matters? That's because I just made it up but, hear me out! There are very few 'on-your-own' options in DC where you can have a true neighborhood experience for under $1700 a month. Thinking about a high-risecondo? No thanks. Last time I checked, those don't come with two patios and since you won't be spending fifteen minutes in an elevator everyday avoiding eye contact with people, you'll have plenty of time to use them.
The location. You're in walking distance to everything. Compass Coffee? 2blocks.Blagdon Alley? 3 minutes away on a scooter. Dacha Beer Garden? Walkable...even in heels.9:30 Club? Around the corner (might still want to bring a mask).Nats Park? Bikeable or less than ten bucks in an Uber. Yup, you got beautiful Bloomingdale behind you, U Street above, and tons happening on 7thand 14thSt. to your left. You can even grab a cab and be at Union Market in five.
Now, we know what you're thinking, will I have enough space? Yes, because this place isn't small, it's cozy(just look at the pics). It's like the Air-b-n-b of your dreams, only you get to live in it. We built in a reclaimed counter by the window for your morning coffee routine and hired a designer to build storage space into every place imaginable so it won't ever look cluttered. There's even a string-lit pergola out front that gives you just the right amount of shade to host your own happy hour or people watch with your pup.
Yup, pup. As in this place is dog-friendly ( 30lbs) *and* located just a few blocks away from Bundy(5thand P).So now that is made up, shoot us a quick note to schedule a walk thru. Lease in June and we'll toss in a $100 gift card to a local Shaw restaurant of your choice!
