During the public health emergency caused by COVID-19, there may be some limits on the way that we show the property to prospective tenants. When a residence is occupied, the current tenants may not want anyone to come into their space to protect their health and safety and we will not be enforcing the minimum 24-hour notice procedure. Also, prospective tenants may not want to enter occupied units.
For now, when prospective tenants apply and cannot view the property in person until it’s been vacated, we will require a deposit to hold it for them. Once they see the property, if they decide it's not suitable, we can refund their security deposit and put the property back on the market or hopefully go on to a waiting second applicant.
