The cottages at Scales Street are minutes from MSU campus and downtown Starkville, located in a private and quiet community off of Scale St & Louisville St in Starkville. There is a bus stop within a ten-minute walk from the Scale St Station cottages that goes directly to the MSU college campus on Louisville.

They are all identical one bed, one bath cottages with front and back porch areas. Each cottage is 380 square feet inside, split into a living area and kitchenette in the front and a bedroom in the back. There is a full-sized bathroom behind the bedroom, and a washer/dryer nook that has shelf storage above it.

All major appliances are included, such as refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and washer & dryer in unit. Utilities are not included. All Scale Street Cottages come with two private parking spaces directly in front.

A deposit equivalent to one months rent will be required to secure the unit.

•Pets are allowed with a one time, upfront and non-refundable pet fee of $350 per pet in the leased premises. There is a weight limit of 50 lbs per pet. Felines must be spayed/neutered. In addition, a monthly pet fee of $35 per pet shall be added to the rent.

•All prospective tenants must fill out an application and will be required to pass credit, criminal, and background checks. A Non-Refundable $30 application fee is required which pays for a third-party background and credit check.

•We require a minimum credit score of 625 for approval, but anyone with a 600-624 credit score can be approved with an approved co-signer/guarantor who has a credit score of 625 or higher.

•If you are under the age of 21, you are required to have an approved co-signer/guarantor on your lease
