The bedrooms and living room had new carpet. The kitchen and dining area had new dura-ceramic type flooring installed. The counter-tops, kitchen sink, faucet, dishwasher and light fixtures were replaced. Ceiling fans in the living room and one bedroom and window coverings added. We also put on a new roof, gutters and downspouts. There is a new garage door as well as automatic garage door opener. Single car attached garage is 14'8"x 23'. The garage opening is taller than normal so if you have an over-sized vehicle it should still fit.
The main floor has two large bedrooms (13'2" x 10'8" & 11'6" x 11'6") plus large closets. The living room is large (15'2" x 13'4") and opens up into the dining area (11'x10')and kitchen (10'x10'). There is also a bar between the kitchen and dining area. We just built a large room in the basement (~12'x16') with a 7'x6' foot walk in closet. It would make a great family room, game room or man cave! The main floor is 994 sq feet. The lot size is 86'x57'.
There is an attached extra long one car garage with some extra storage space in the garage. There is also a stand up shower and stool in the basement. This has not been redone, but it is fully functional. There is also a lot of storage space in the basement with some shelving, as well as an additional non-finished area that could be a game room or living room. The house also has an attic fan (not new, but works)
We provide the fridge, stove and dishwasher.
A deposit equal to the rent is required. Pet deposit (1/2 the rental rate plus pet rent) and pet rent, typically $35/month would be required. Online applications and online leases are available. Paying rent is also made convenient by having choices of direct allotment, online ACH payments via E-check, or credit/debit cards. We also accept checks and money orders. Putting down the security deposit can be done on-line as well as signing the lease.
No smoking inside the house.
This is a great house in a great neighborhood. It is located in Clay Center which is a small community but has everything you would need for daily living. It is about 35 minutes from Fort Riley or Junction City and 40 minutes from Manhattan. It is a wonderful community and a great place to raise a family or just get away from the Fort Riley, JC or Manhattan area. In 2011, we added a new park that is wonderful and in 2015 we opened our new Water Park!. Clay Center also has a nice zoo, several other parks, 2 golf courses (1 public & 1 private) as well as many restaurants, shops, stores, bars & other activities.
