Several bus lines run through the area, including two Circulator routes. While you can get by easily without a car in the neighborhood, 16th St NW, Massachusetts Ave NW, and Connecticut Ave NW all provide direct routes out of the city. Interstate 66 starts a few blocks from Dupont Circle and runs out to Virginia.
