All applicants must have a minimum of a 700 credit score and proof of $2,400 a month income or obtain a cosign from a parent. There will be an application fee of $55 to cover credit and background check. Security deposit is $700. Late fee for any rent paid after the 5th of the month is $75. Applicant must be willing to cut grass or pay $15 a month extra rent for lawn maintenance. 2 pet max (must be under 20 pounds each). Pet fee will be $25 per month per pet, and a nonrefundable fee must be paid upfront of $75 per pet.
This is the upstairs of a duplex. It is 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and it comes with a 2 car garage. Their is a parking spot in the front, as well as ample parking along the street. The garage should probably just used for storage or a workshop, as the other renter in the bottom unit uses the bottom of the driveway for parking. Brand new windows are being installed by Window World (estimated installation is early April but this was their estimate as they were back up).
Pros:
Centrally located (5 minutes from the HVMC, downtown Kingsport, and Eastman)
Quiet streets (at the end of a street where no main road traffic can be heard)
Lots of outdoor storage (garage)
Porch
Enormous living room and kitchen
Cons
Not a lot of indoor storage (only 1 bedroom has it's own closet; a curtain was placed at the end of the hall to make an extra storage area)
Must split electric bill with tenant downstairs (does not have own electric meter; owner will pay the total bill and collect half of the bill from each renter)
Garage is impractical for parking (though there are multiple spots to park by the road)
Would advise lamp in the living room (at night the overhead is not quite bright enough)
