My partner and I have just bought a house and are looking for someone to take over our current lease on a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment at Woodland Mews that extends to July 2020 (or longer, if you wish to renew later). The complex is located at the split of Main St and Ann Arbor-Saline and has incredibly easy access to downtown Ann Arbor, I-94, bus lines (Rt 24 & 25), Michigan Stadium, Pioneer High School, and tons of shopping and grocery. We have one carport space next to the building as an optional part of the lease, but if you'd like, ditching your car and commuting by bus to anywhere in the Ann Arbor-Ypsi area is a breeze.
Both bedrooms are generously sized, but the master bedroom is MASSIVE with a half bath en-suite. Our particular style of unit has an extra extension off the living room adding 100+ sq ft that we have used as a gaming nook. Additionally, this second floor unit has a large patio with plenty of space for furniture and planters. The kitchen opens to the rest of the living space with a cozy bar seating area and has a great walk-in pantry with stacked washer/dryer in unit.
Community amenities include a beautiful outdoor pool with adjacent patio and a brand new grill and outdoor fridge, an indoor hot tub, fitness center and many events (They love to feed us here!). Bring your furry friends- there are two large fenced-in dog parks in the complex and the closest is just a few steps away from this apartment. The buildings and community are quiet and well-maintained, perfect for grad students, young professionals, and families.
This would be a clean transfer of the lease from us to you, rather than a sublet- everything will be handled through Woodland Mews and, once finalized, we will have no attachment to the lease, giving you one less headache to deal with.
