Hello! We have a private room for rent (8.5'x11'; unfurnished) in a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house in NE Portland, 97230. The room is $750 per month, including all utilities. Washer and dryer, air conditioning, and forced air heating.
There are three of us living in the home too (my partner Matt and I who are the owners of the home and 1 other female roommate; in our 30’s). Our small dog named Thor too who is very friendly and LOVES people. The room for rent is perfect for a college student and/or quiet and tidy person. The rest of the house is shared living space, except for my makeshift office that I work from home in for the time being. We have a fenced backyard with a grill, patio and garden space that you’re welcome to use. I ❤️ gardening! 🧑 🌾
Our home is an 8 minute walk to the new Linfield University location. It was built in the 1950’s and is quite charming. The kitchen has the original cupboards and doorknobs! There’s a fireplace, large laundry/mudroom with sink and 1/2 bathroom by outside exit, vinyl windows, quiet neighbors, and a storage shed. The closest grocery store is WinCo Foods and Fred Meyer. Nearby coffee shops include Starbucks and Perfect Cup Espresso. Nearby restaurants include Akira Sushi 🍣 (our favorite), Mod Pizza and Subway. Planet Fitness and nearby parks include John Luby Park (awesome little forest just three blocks away) and Luuwit View Park. Excellent bike lanes!
Utilities included in rent price. No smoking. This is not a party house. Must practice Covid-19 safe behaviors. Black Lives Matter!
