Pick Your Premium Promotion**
If you sign a lease and pay your move-in funds by September 1st, you will be able to choose from ONE of the following amazing Premium Promotions:
Flexible Start Date Lease: Even though this unit is available on now, we recognize that you may not be ready to move-in on that date. So, feel free to pick a different start date between now and January 1st, 2021. In the event you have personal property to store, we will allow you to move your items into your apartment upon signing your lease. You will only be charged $1 per month for storage.
Partial Occupancy Lease: For those in group living situations, some roommates may be ready to move-in on now, while others needs a later start date If you start your lease by September 1st, we will reduce the rent by the proportional share of the apartment not being used. So, if you are renting a two bedroom apartment with four people and two are using one bedroom and are moving in on September 1st and the other two sharing the second bedroom will be moving in January 1st, then only half the rent will need to be paid for the months of September through December.
Flexible End Date Lease: During these uncertain times, you may need to have to break your lease due to loss employment, immigration status, or UC Berkeley moving back to completely on-line instruction. If you start your lease by September 1st and this occurs, you will be allowed to break your lease, without penalty by providing at least 60 days written notice.
UCB Academic In-Class Lease: For those who are either full-time UC Berkeley Students or Faculty or Staff, who are unclear as to when full in-class instruction will resume, you can chose to sign an in-class academic lease. You will have the option to delay your start date until UC Berkeley resumes in-class instruction. In the event you have personal property to store, we will allow you to move your items into your apartment upon signing your lease. You will only be charged $1 per month for storage.
UCB Tuition Support Promotion: We recognize that students are struggling to pay their bills during this crisis. Unfortunately, UC Berkeley hasn't offered to reduce tuition even though the vast majority of classes will be online. So, we have decided that we could help out by offering UC Berkeley Full-Time Students with some tuition support. Thus, if you move-in by September 1st, 2020 and sign a lease through May 31st, 2021, Premium Properties will pay $5,000 of your tuition for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Since your lease will be for 9 months, this effectively reduces your rent by over $550 per month.
