The house is within walking distance to the Blossom Hill VTA station (closest) and Ohlone VTA station where various corporate buses pick up. Both stations have a night-time security guard. Also walkable are Oakridge Mall, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Retro Gym, the South Valley YMCA, Almaden Lake Park, coffee shops, a couple grocery stores, a post office, etc. The house is a short drive to Whole Foods Market Almaden, City Sports (a newly built fitness center), Costco, Sprouts (newly renovated), Almaden Ranch (a newly built shopping center), etc.

From the front windows, you can see the low mountains that run between the house and the Almaden area--the owners call these the "green mountains" as opposed to the "brown mountains" that are east of here.

This two-story stucco Craftsman-style house is 2563 sq ft and was built in 2001. (The downstairs ceilings are high around 10 feet). There are transom windows above the regular windows, so lots of nice light available when you open the plantation shutters. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs, 3 baths upstairs, and a powder room on the main floor.

The interior walls have light-colored grey-beige paint throughout. White plantation shutters are on most windows (shutters are about 3 years old, solid wood, made in the USA). On the main level, the new engineered oak floors have a matte translucent white-wash stain and you can feel the grain of the USA-grown white oak. Upstairs, there is light beige carpeting that is 4 years old. The current owners never wear shoes in the house and don’t have pets, so the wood flooring and carpeting are in very good condition.

Two-car garage and parking on this little street (which ends in a cul-de-sac). Every bathroom has an openable window for fresh air. Central air conditioning and gas heat; gas hot water, gas Bosch stove. Quiet Bosch dish washer. Large GE fridge, GE double oven, and GE microwave were purchased May/June 2018. All kitchen appliances are stainless steel. Maple cabinets and granite tile kitchen countertops are original--not updated. The kitchen windows look out to the back yard. The family room has a window and a sliding-glass door looking out to the back yard. The laundry room also has a window looking out to the back yard and a door to the yard. There is wood fencing (recently repaired) surrounding the back yard and there is an extra-tall solid gate with a lock. Back yard has one lemon tree, one orange tree, and one tall palm tree. There is an ADT security system, but if the tenants want to use it, they will have to pay the monthly service fee.

A programmable sprinkler system covers back and front. Also comes with a large GE front load washer and dryer set (charcoal gray, 4 years old). These items are being left as conditional items.

Landscaping and garbage are included in the rent.
