Lighting varies between standard ceiling lights, hanging lights, and track lights. With the exception of the kitchen, the home gets terrific light.
The living room is carpeted and has a balcony which stretches the width of the home. Most of the wall is windows. It has a great view of downtown. Facing the front of the home (opposite the view) are a semi-open kitchen, half bath, and hallway to the dining room. There is a breakfast bar between the living room and kitchen and it can seat four. Kitchen includes a gas range, double oven, dishwasher, lots of cabinet and drawer space, and will be updated (not shown in photos). There are folding doors between the kitchen and dining room. Formal dining room is spacious. There is one bedroom on the ground floor. It is at the front of the home. It has a wall of built-in shelving but no closet. Half bath has toilet and sink.
The other two bedrooms are upstairs along with the full bath and deck. Floors are hardwood except in the bath and on the deck. The larger of the two bedrooms has a full-wall closet with sliding mirror doors. The second upstairs bedroom has sliding glass doors that open onto the deck. Sizeable deck includes a fully covered area for inclement weather. The home's excellent Bay Area view comes from here. Bath with shower-over-tub with sliding glass doors is between the two bedrooms.
The home shares a laundry with an in-law apartment. Walk Score is 80, Transit Score is 82. The 33 Clayton bus is practically at your doorstep and will get you to the J-Church MUNI or Mission Street bus lines in minutes. It's a reasonable walk to the Castro and all of the shopping and dining opportunities there.
