A little more than two miles northwest from the center of Tucson, the Ward 3 neighborhood rests on the south bank of the Rillito River and Rillito River Park. Due to the arid climate of the city, many apartments for rent here feature pools and stucco construction to keep residents cool. North Oracle Road runs straight through the middle of the area, accessing I-10 for a quick commute around the city. As a hip southwestern city, Tucson boasts a rich history, including sites where Wyatt Earp, Poncho Villa, and Cochise walked, the historic Anza Trail, and classic Spanish missions. Downtown Tucson houses several museums, including the Tucson Museum of Art on Main Avenue. Take part in the rich space program history of Tucson with sites such as the Pima Air & Space Museum and the SkyNights program at Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter.
