Our one-of-a-kind property is PRIVATE, QUIET, PEACEFUL AND RELAXING! If you are a golf or water enthusiast, we have 17 reasonably priced courses in Highlands County and we are right around the lake from Pinecrest Country Club and Sandhill Grill. Lake Lotela is an 800+ acre sandy bottom RECREATIONAL lake. (Swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, wake boarding) 81 other lakes in Highlands County! We are a fishermans paradise! Highlands Hammock State Park is 12 miles.

Convenient to local hospitals, Nucor, South Florida State College, and other Highlands County businesses. Also, the perfect spot for remote work. About 1.5 hrs to beaches, Tampa, and Orlando, yet away from the traffic and hustle bustle of those areas.

Take it easy at our unique and tranquil lakefront getaway. The setting at Villa Lotela is homey, well maintained, peaceful, and relaxing. Perfect for someone who has to be in the area but does not want to pay for Airbnb or hotel. (We do not offer nightly or weekly rentals.) The advertised unit is Apt. 1, an entire furnished apartment, and there are four other furnished, separate apartments on the property. VERY IMPORTANT: Contact property manager with any specific requests/needs to see if we can accommodate you. All contracts can be tailored to your individual or corporate requirements. Regarding PETS we have a strict no pet policy.

Rates vary with the length of stay, unit location, number of people and how utilities are structured. State of FL Sales and Use Tax (12.5%) is applicable on rentals less than 6+ months. The rate shown includes the sales tax. We offer variable terms and welcome mid to long term contracts. Contact property manager for off season rates, and rates for 6 month+ contracts.

We do require a credit/background check, and an actual rental contract. A typical security deposit is one months rent that is held in escrow and refunded at the end of your stay.

No smoking in units, we strive to be a non-smoking property.
