Description
$1,500 - 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom, Kitchenette, small Apartment In Natural House
Hi there, Dear applicant,
I live a VEGAN lifestyle free of chemicals in my house. I live downstairs and am renting the 2nd-floor to natural people or preferably fellow vegans who appreciate a chemical-free lifestyle and the hardwood floors (finished with linseed oil, no polyurethane). The upstairs is an apartment, but it is not entirely closed off to the common entry hall and stairs to the basement.
The upstairs has 2 ROOMS, a bathroom, and a kitchenette (sink, 2 hotplates, and fridge). Both rooms have closets. If we are a good match, you are invited to spend time in my organic garden or around the outdoor fireplace as well.
This is a mixed city neighborhood with a Boys & Girls Club across the street and kids playing in the playground.
I may play the piano downstairs sometimes, and if that bothers you, youre not a good fit.
Other features:
1/2 mile from Walkway over the Hudson
1 mile to DCC,
5 minutes to train station to NYC
Less than 10 minutes to Marist, Vassar, and Culinary Institute.
Lots of little restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
City bus stop at the corner.
Utilities included.
Natural products only (detergents, perfumes, etc). No dryer in the house.
No tobacco smoking.
Stairway cleaning is tenants responsibility.
I love plants in the house :-)
I prefer a 1-year lease, renewable, or month-to-month thereafter.
I look forward to having interesting, lovely housemates again.
