Hi, Im Ashley, and Im the landlord who lives in the master suite at the other end of the house and works from home most of the time. I work hard to make this a peaceful, board gaming, book reading, nature-loving, cozy kind of place to live, and Im looking for a bedroom renter to become part of that. The house is 20 minutes from downtown Knox, 15 minutes from Oak Ridge, 10 minutes from shopping, and only 5 minutes from Haw Ridge Park. It sits on 3.5 acres of partially-wooded property so you dont even have to leave home to be surrounded by trees for a while.
I offer credit to your next months rent if you are able to care for the cats and smaller dog when I travel for work. This can happen as often as every month for up to a week at a time.
There are 2 dogs (a german shepherd and a beagle/terrier mix), 2 cats (they are cats), and turtle and some fish already here. My dog training philosophy is force-free and fear-free, and Ive worked hard to have dogs that are both a complete pleasure to live and play with. A previous renter brought their own kitten and we are able to get along just fine, so feel free to bring yours. Prospective renters will be invited to see the property and meet-and-greet the beasts to make sure were all a good fit for each other.
This property is smoke and drug-free for the health and safety of all tenants and pets in residence.
