Im looking for one housemate to lease an open room in a four-bedroom home. You’d be living with one man and two women, all in their mid to early twenties. They’re all young professionals working in the area, and everyone receives a thorough background check before being accepted.
The house is a short distance from Duke, downtown Durham, and the 15-501 Freeway restaurants (Gugelhupf, Foster’s Market, NuvoTaco, Thai Café, Q Shack, etc.). All the common areas will be furnished! You only have to worry about furnishing your room. Some of the amenities include:
• In-house laundry machines
• Chairs for the front and back porch, as well as a BBQ
• TV, couch, and coffee table
• Dining room table, chairs, and bar stools
• Tons of built-in storage all around the house
• Walk-in closets
• Dedicated space in the garage for each tenant to store personal items
The lease runs from August 1st to July 31st. The bedroom is $825/month and it shares a bathroom with another housemate. Everyone splits utilities equally, which run about $125/month/person, depending on the season.
