We may have parking available. The laundry room is on the first floor, just off the lobby. There is an elevator as well as two staircases. We take pride in our building, and it is impeccably well kept and maintained.
Lane Beach is a block away, as is the Colvin House (for summertime jazz performances), and park 517 (just waiting for an artist to come up with a better name!). Have a coffee at Metropolis, the Waterfront Cafe, or any of the little mom and pop restaurants, and mosey on down the path along the Lakefront. You could also take the jogging or bike path all the way downtown. The "L" station at Thorndale will get you downtown in 20 minutes, or to Loyola University in 7. In nice weather you can walk to Loyola in under 15 minutes. Northwestern University takes about 15 minutes by train, transferring to the Purple line at Howard.
We are a no smoking building, up to 2 cats allowed per apartment. Sorry, no dogs. We do check background, credit and references, and you have to be a good neighbor. Professionally managed and maintained.
Studios, One Bedroom and Junior One Bedroom apartments are all well appointed at The Kenmore Manor.
These apartments offer open concept living and dining, with spacious bathrooms and updated fixtures. Heat and air conditioning are in unit, and there are large windows for natural light as well as fresh air.
The Laundry room is on the main floor just off the lobby. The Manor has secured entry access, and off street parking. Professionally managed and maintained with on site maintenance available.
Steps to the Lake, beach at Thorndale, the bicycle & jogging path to downtown. The Redline station is a block away and will get you downtown in 20 minutes, or to Evanston in less. Walk to Whole Foods, Aldi's, Mariano's, Jewel, CVS, Starbucks, Walgreens, Metropolis Cafe, or order in from one of the many mom and pop restaurants along Broadway and Granville.
Loyola University is a 5 minute walk away. Our building is clean, well managed, with maintenance on site. The intercom rings your cell phone and you can let your guests in with the press of a button.
