Most mornings, the water is like glass, and you can see every disturbance from dolphins, manatee, or jumping fish. You can watch swans swim next to the mangrove island a short distance away. At sunrise, every room is filled with natural light from the east.

The gated beach property across the street from Longboat Harbour has parking, rest rooms, outdoor showers, chair storage, and a car wash area. Luckily, the storm surge from neither Helene nor Milton reached any of the residential buildings in the Longboat Harbor community, so no water entered this unit. Longboat Key itself has a dozen great restaurants, Publix grocery store, golf courses, banks, post office, Ace hardware, parks, churches, and several small shopping centers. Five miles to the south is St. Armand’s Circle and Lido Key, with many beaches, shops and restaurants.
