Seeking a mature, responsible female roommate.
I am a healthy and active senior looking to share my 1900-square-foot townhouse in Arvada, CO.
The home has two master bedrooms. You’ll have a private furnished bedroom, a brand-new queen-size mattress and box spring, a desk, an office chair, two closets, an adjacent patio, an adjacent bathroom with a shower for your exclusive use, and one parking space. You will have full access to the entire first floor which includes a shared living room with a vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning fireplace, shared dining room with a second patio off the dining room, and a shared fully equipped kitchen. The unfinished basement has a full-size washer and dryer, there is also space that can be used for exercising, yoga, other activities, or could be set up as another sitting room. There is a small amount of room for storage in the basement.
There is no cable TV, but there is Netflix, Tubi, Pluto and YouTube. No extra movie rentals are allowed.
Your cost is $1100 monthly, all utilities and internet are included. A $1,000 security deposit is required.
An interview, drug test, background check, credit check, two letters of reference, and proof of income are required.
Honesty is paramount.
My bedroom, bathroom, and loft office are upstairs on the second floor and are mine alone. I work twelve to twenty hours a week (between 9 and 6:30) on a flex schedule from home and need quiet during that time. My job requires phone calls, so I cannot have distractions then.
I insist on- No smoking, No recreational drugs, No pets, although a small well-behaved dog could be considered but would cost $35 more per month., No long-term or frequent overnight visitors, and No weapons. I expect you to assist in keeping a clean and peaceful home. I expect you to clean up after yourself, do your dishes daily, and promptly remove your wet and dry laundry.
Meals are not included. You will have your own food cabinet in the dining room, half of the refrigerator, and half of the extra freezer in the basement.
The complex is adjacent to a large neighborhood park, and there is a walking trail to a hidden lake. There are three grocery stores, two drug stores, a café, a frozen yogurt store, a Subway shop, a nail salon, two pizza stores, a convenience store, three gas stations, a small wildlife preserve, and a Target within 1.2 miles. Routes 36 and 70 are easy to access.
Guest parking is on the street at the complex entrances.
The home is not wheelchair accessible.
My hobbies are writing, daily walks, attending performing arts events, and travel.
