Living and Dining Rooms:

The living and dining rooms take up the remaining space on the second floor. A large sectional couch and chairs create the perfect area for a little family time on one side, with a small sitting area in the other corner.

Large picture windows offer terrific island views from the living room. The living room opens onto a deck overlooking the Topsail Sound, where you can enjoy our famous Topsail sunsets. You can also see a wide range of wildlife from your deck, from pelicans to bald eagles and even the occasional deer.

There’s plenty of room for everyone at the dining table, which seats six. For additional seating, there’s space for four more at the bar.

Bedrooms:

On the main sleeping floor, you’ll find the first queen master overlooking the Sound. The elegant queen master boasts a beautiful sleigh bed and a private deck. Down the hall is a full bedroom and a bedroom with two twins that share a hall bath. The Queen bedroom and the twin bedroom both have a flat screen TV and all three rooms have deck access.

The top level, accessible by stairs or the elevator, is the king master suite. This suite features a small sitting area, a bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and a private deck with a bird’s eye view of the Sound. For additional guests, there are two more twin beds located in the alcove on this level—perfect for small children or a small family wanting to keep the kids close. There is a large flat screen TV in this alcove, as well.

Outdoor Spaces:

This house is ideally located on the Sound, perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, and visiting Permuda Island Reserve. This home has a private dock with easy access to the sound for fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. If you’d like to venture out onto the sound, add the owner's kayak rental to your stay.. (double kayak with two paddles available and waiver must be signed at check-in).

Enjoy your breakfast with stunning views of the Sound on one of six decks. The Scotch Bonnet neighborhood is located just over the Surf City line and offers a community pool, open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The beach is only a block from the house, just a short walk away! Spend the day on the beach and rinse off the sand in the enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower upon your return.

If you’re looking to get out and stretch your legs, the house is located close enough to walk to restaurants and boutique shops. The carport fits two vehicles, with room for more in the drive.
