A well-equipped 4th floor loft is the ideal space for the kids to hangout in and also provides the additional sleeping arrangements. The extra sleeping space to make the occupancy 7 – 10 people includes the loft sofa (sheets provided), which pulls out to a firm double-size sleeper, the loft leather chaise lounger that is approximately twin-size (sheets provided) and the 3rd floor landing with a single daybed with twin mattress (sheets provided). The loft’s attached full bath with steam shower, double sinks, closet (with two white spa robes) and large patio are additional great-to-have features when accommodating larger groups.
The Channel Islands Harbor, which is a short distance, offers rentals for kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, boats, and specialty bikes. There are even opportunities to visit 5 of the islands that make up the Channel Islands National Park for fishing, hiking, kayaking and whale watching! Explore some local places nearby, walk (0.3 mile) to the local bakery Heavenly Cakes to buy breakfast. Stroll along the beach for just over a mile to the neighborhood Hollywood Beach Café. Also a short (approx. 1 mile) drive is the amazing new Brasserie Communautaire for dinner.
For special shopping opportunities, the Camarillo Outlet Mall and The Collection provide a large array of high-end retailers, fantastic restaurants and also a movie theater. If you want to venture outside of our neighborhood, we are in close proximity to all the fun things to see and do in Ventura, Carpenteria, Santa Barbara and Malibu.
The garage holds the beach toys, boogie boards, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and a stand-up paddleboard, all easily accessible for guests use. Take the toys in a convenient beach wagon straight to the beach from the garage via the beach access point, which runs along the side of the home. Also available for guests use is the second refrigerator and the full-sized washer and dryer which will help in keeping all your beach towels fresh for the next days fun!
