Description
Beautifully restored historic adobe in downtown Santa Fe
Casa de Elba is a spacious one-bedroom adobe home inside a private walled compound in the historic Guadalupe District and steps from the Santuario de Guadalupe. The Casa is easy walking distance to both the vibrant Railyard District and Santa Fe Plaza. No car is required- outside seating is available.
Casa de Elba is two blocks from the Santa Fe River Trail and a short stroll to some of the best restaurants, galleries and shops in Santa Fe as well as the Farmers Market, train depot, and Violet Crown movie theater.
Experience authentic Santa Fe living in this lovingly restored fully furnished double adobe home with hand troweled plaster walls, maple and saltillo tile floors, new custom kitchen with quartz countertops, Riedel stemware, and handmade porcelain and stoneware bowls. Originally built in the late 1800s, and totally restored. High ceilings expose original wood beams. Hand carved doors with traditional pueblo Indian storytelling design. Custom crafted willow reed shutters. Skylights add natural light. Casa de Elba has fast, free WiFi.
The cozy bedroom has a queen sized bed with luxurious 600 thread count cotton linens from Portugal. The bathroom is light and bright with a soaring ceiling, a skylight, and an enormous mirror. The dining room seats four.
This home is named for my mother, an artist who immigrated to the United States in the early 60s to study at the Chicago Art Institute. The paintings that fill this home are her work.
On Site parking is shared. There is no dedicated parking space.
All utilities and fast free WiFi included. Biweekly or monthly housekeeping ($120) available. This home is offered for rent for 30 days or more. I am a Qualified Film Vendor (QFV).
