Description
$1,500 - 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Lake House In Interlochen With Great Amenities
Fully furnished lakefront home in Penn Loch Colony on Green Lake. The house is comfortable for renters with a party for 1-3 people. So the limit is 3 or less people living at the home. Available from October 9 - May 25 with some wiggle room. Tours of the property can be accommodated almost anytime. Internet, water, and garbage are included.
My wife and I both grew up in Traverse City and are professors at the University of Nevada, Reno. During summer break, we live in the home so we can visit family while doing our research. Since we live here during the summer, the house is fully furnished and has comfortable beds, a full supply of kitchen gear, and a Weber grill. ALL bedrooms come with blackout shades and/or curtains for a great nights sleep. Each year, we invest in updates to the home. This summer we installed a new deck railing, a cedar-lined outdoor shower with hot water, a 50-ft Twin Bay dock, and a small beach landing for easy lake access.
The house is nestled in Penn Loch Colony, a serene, tree-lined private peninsula just a 5-minute drive from Interlochen Center for the Arts. Its also conveniently close to all the amenities of Traverse City and the natural beauty of Leelanau County. The home sits on the leeward side of the peninsula, overlooking a peaceful cove with forest views across the lake, offering a tranquil and relaxing setting.
